Red Centre is committed to ensuring the confidentality of your personal information.

The methods by which Red Centre Conducts business are governed by the Telecommunications Act of 1997, Industry Codes of Practice and the Red Centre Privacy Policy (This document). Your Personal Information
Red Centre collects several types of information about you. This information includes but is not limited to your name, contact address, telephone number, user name, password and email address. If you have selected the credit card payment option, Red Centre also records the registered Credit Card number, the name on the card and expiry date. Some of this information is necessary in order for Red Centre to provide you with an Internet Service.

The Red Centre Web servers include a logging facility that enables Red Centre to record the time, date and URL of the originating request to view a page. This information is used to monitor and improve the performance of the servers. This information is not used to identify users.

Some of the pages on the Red Centre Web Server may use cookie technology. A cookie is a file that the web server saves on your computer for the purpose of recording your preferences for accessing a particular web page. If you prefer not to receive cookies, you can adjust your Internet browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when cookies are being used.

Use of Your Information
The information that Red Centre collects from you is used to provide you with a quality Internet Service. The data gathered when you use the Red Centre Web site is aggregated and analysed. Identifying information is removed so that your identity remains anonymous.

Security
The information that Red Centre collects from you is strictly confidential. Red Centre is required by law not to reveal, disclose, sell, distribute, rent, licence, share or pass on to any third parties, any personal information that you may have provided unless we have your express consent to do so.

However, there are several exceptions to confidentality policy. These include:

  • Where there a reasonable grounds to believe that disclosure is necessary to prevent a threat to life or health; and;
  • Where Red Centre is required to provide information in response to Subpoenas or Warrants or other legal process.

It is not possible to guarantee the security of data transmitted over the Internet. However, Red Centre will at all times strive to protect your personal information. Red Centre cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit or receive via the Red Centre Service. These activities are conducted at your own risk.

Credit Card information transmitted via the Red Centre secure servers is encrypted in accordance with the highest standards. However, it is not possible to guarantee the absolute security of this information. Please do not send credit card information through electronic mail.
